HI Tonya,
I was reading the website for the special child and saw you were a yoga practitioner here in Ma. i live in Middleboro and also a fellow yogi. i have been doing yoga about 1997 and also fell in love with the practice. I am a certified hath yoga and ashtanga with David Swenson. I am still teaching but now i have been teaching more children and also kids and young adults with special needs. my second daughter was born with Down Syndrome and has been the catalyst to working more with children with special needs. i also teach art to children with special needs and in the public schools. i was wondering about the training and how you liked it. Do you teach any of this training. i would love to chat with you.

I love Sonia Sumar! I cannot recommend her and Yoga for the Special Child enough. I occasionally teach sections of yoga trainings that cover special needs but I do not teach as part of YSC.Good Luck!
